The Difference Between Soft Washing, Power Washing & Pressure Washing
When it comes to Exterior Washing, there is absolutely a difference in what kind of services should be provided per project. This is due to ensuring your property and assets are kept out of harm's way of any sort of damage including tearing, ripping or puncturing.
SOFT WASHING
Soft Washing is a method of cleaning that, rather than using a high-intensity level of water, uses a low-pressure washing technique. In addition to this low-washing method, Soft Washing also includes a mixture of chemicals to assist in the cleaning of your assets. These chemicals typically include algaecides, bleach and surfactants which safely clean exterior surfaces.
POWER WASHING
Power Washing is quite the opposite of Soft Washing as it uses a high-pressure stream of extremely hot water that blasts build-up (such as dirt, grime and algae) from exterior surfaces. This method is typically used for things such as brick homes, concrete driveways and sidewalks and other hard surfaces that can withstand the heat and water pressure of power washing.
PRESSURE WASHING
Pressure Washing is highly similar to Power Washing as it also uses a high-pressure stream of water to dismiss the build-up of nasty materials such as dirt, grime and algae. However, the difference between Power Washing and Pressure Washing is that Pressure Washing uses room temperature water, rather than hot like Power Washing. This technique is used most often for medium-grade build-ups.
